1. Product introduction


HB-208 is a new type of ebike center mounted instrument panel that is easy to assemble and has strong compatibility. It has a 3.5-inch wide viewing angle display screen, paired with button switches, and can set multifunctional parameters according to user needs. It can be adapted to multiple types of two wheeled vehicles, power assisted vehicles, etc. HB-208 is a fixed LCD display interface, with real-time speed colors available in green/white(supports LCD mold customization)

3. Button function

3.1 Key Description: "+" key, "_" key, power key, supports single click/double click/longpress

3.2 Power on/off: Long press the power button to turn on/off the device; Automaticallyshut down without any operation for five minutes (time can be set by the user)

3.3 Front lights: When turned on, press and hold the "+" button; Turn on/off headlights

3.4 Gear: When turned on, click the "+" /"_" keys to switch to the power assist gear

4. Display function

4.1 Speed display: The speed progress bar changes with real-time speed

4.2 Power display: 1-10 grid power

4.3 Gear indication: 1st to 5th gear (optional gear and adjustable speed)

4.4 After the instrument panel is turned on, the mileage value defaults to ODO; Clickthe power button to cycle between TlME and TRIP

4.4 Promotion mode: Long press the "_" button to enter the promotion mode, with aspeed of 6km/h (some controllers do not support this function)

4.5 Fault indication: When the instrument detects a fault, the fault icon lights up and the numerical display area displays the fault code

5. Fault code display


When the electric control system of the power bike malfunctions, the instrument pane will automatically display a fault code, The detailed definition of the fault code can be found in the following table

6. Basic parameter settings


6.1 Parameter setting: In the power on state (when the vehicle is stationary), press and hold the "+" and "_" keys for more than 2 seconds to enter the parameter setting interface,At this time, the gear is displayed as "P"; Press and hold the "+" and "." keys simultaneously to exit parameter settings, or automatically exit without any action for 20 seconds

6.2 Parameter Number: Click the "Power Key" to switch parameter numbers (Parameter 01-Parameter 10)


6.3 Parameter values: Click the "+" or "_" keys to change the parameter values, click the "Power button" to confirm and return to the parameter number selection interface

7. Warranty


7.1 The warranty period of the product is within 12 months from the date of the instrument leaving the factory.


7.2 Non warranty scope

  • The shell is opened
  • The connector is damaged
  • After the instrument leaves the factory, the outer shell is scratched or damaged
  • Scratches or fractures on instrument lead wires
  • Malfunctions or damages caused by force majeure (such as fire, earthquake, etc. or natural disasters (such as lightning strikes, etc.)
  • The product has exceeded the warranty period

 

8.Precautions


8.1 Pay attention to safety during use and do not plug or unplug the instrument when powered on;

8.2 The instrument is a sensitive device, try to avoid collision as much as possible. and pay attention to moisture-proof and waterproof during storage,

8.3 Regarding the back end parameter settings of the instrument, please do not change them arbitrarily, otherwise normal riding cannot be guaranteed;

8.4 When the instrument cannot be used normally, it should be sent for repair as soon as possible;
